Let go of the past.

Forgiveness is a choice. We may not be able to wipe away the hurt that someone has caused but we can choose to cast off the bitterness, anger, and feelings of the need to revenge and justice. How? Trust in God, believe in His word, and turn judgment over to Him. Once we let God to take over, we can start to let the negative feelings go.

Hate this feeling, so much.

I learned a lot about friendships. I lost people that were once my best friends. I lost old friendships that I thought would last beyond high school. People I once trusted ended up showing me the opposite. Although I lost those people, I also built more valuable relationships with the people who stayed. I kept the friends that really mattered. I gained stronger friendships with people who were there for me. I realized that besides family, I only have a few people I can truly rely on, but that’s okay. Having a huge group of friends isn’t that great when most can care less about you. In the end, having a few valuable friendships with people who really have your back is always worth so much more.

True this.

How do you explain why you like someone? The answer's simple--you can't. The feelings you get when you wake up to their text message, when you see their smile and know it's there because of you, when you see their face light up the second they see you, when they hold you in their arms, when you want to see/talk/be with them 24/7, when they tell you that you're the most important thing in the world to them, when they accept you for who you are, and when they tell you that they love you; all those feelings you get can only be felt, not explained. You can tell that you like someone all based on how you "feel", it's as if time has stopped and everything seems perfect for once, it's as if you're walking on air and nothing could ever bring you down.

A girl thing.

It’s a girl thing. We don’t like starting the conversation because we like to feel like you want to talk to us. We like to feel like the wait was worth something. We like feeling like you’ve waited for us like we’ve waited for you. But the number one reason we hate talking first is because we hate to seem needy or clingy. That’s why we’re scared. Cause to us, being needy and obsessive just pushes guys away. And no girl wants that.

This really hurt me.

I learned a lot about friendships. I lost people that were once my best friends. I lost old friendships that I thought would last beyond high school. People I once trusted ended up showing me the opposite. Although I lost those people, I also built more valuable relationships with the people who stayed. I kept the friends that really mattered. Are you ready for "Romance with purpose"?

So I went to one of my favorite bookstore (Vines and the Branches) to find and buy a devotional book. And I found this book, "Boy meets Girl" by Joshua Harris. It's a book about courtship, it is filled with stories of ordinary people who are choosing to honor God in the real-life details of their love lives, from agonizing questions about the timing of a relationship.
The book is is in three sections:
The part one defines the basic principles of courtship. We'll see how when we allow wisdom to guide our intense romantic feelings, our relationship are blessed by patience, purpose and a clear grasp of reality.
The part two jumps into the practical issues of what to do as the season of courtship unfolds. We'll learn how to grow closer, but still guard our hearts in important areas like friendship, communications, fellowship and romance.
The part three helps couples who are getting more serious to move towards marriage in a God-honoring way. We'll see how God's grace can help us face sin from our past.
I just read Chapter one already and its beautiful. I'm hoping this book can help me how to wait for my own romance with purpose and I'm really hoping that it'll inspire me. So I can share this with my friends who are single too. :)

Love of my Life.

Me, G-ann, Rona, Clare
"We may not be blooded but you're a real sister to me."

We called B's because our nicknames are all starts with the letter "B". Look, 'Bhie, Bingka, Bee and Biko', see? :) I love them so much! We raise in the same church, there we grow together, we sing and dance together. God witness everything, that we fall but we helped each other to rise. We fight but we come back to each others arms. We smile and laugh at each others silly and non-sense jokes because that's our favorite to do. And most of all, we witness each others weaknesses and still we helped each other to be more strong. Having our differences is not that easy for us but our love for each other fill the differences of our human being and of our friendship. And we all know that God is still in the center of our friendship.I believe that these people are my soul mates. Life seems so much better when you have a friend by your side and I'm so much lucky to have not one but three amazing and wonderful people in my life and I thank God for giving them to me.

P.S. We did not talk but we did talk to prayers and to our hearts. God knows how much I owe and love you guys. You will still my bff and bff's are forever. So we are forever and you will still be the 'love of my life.'

I am me.

Hi, this is my first post here in my blogspot. I create this blog so I can express and share with you (reader) all about thee. I am created for God and only for Him. I’m the girl who tries to be nice to everyone and who tries to look pretty and it’s never good enough but I keep believing that I am beautiful in my own way because God created each and everyone perfectly and uniquely. I’m the girl who tries to get her point across and could never find the right words, the girl who has more depth to her then everyone thinks. I’m the girl who wouldn't care if you gave me a shitty gift as long as you thought of me (the thoughts that counts). I’m the girl that prays that someone will finally understand. I’m the girl that gets happy over the little things. I’m the girl that people misinterpret. But I am still me.
